Hi Wombats,

The 2026 season is right around the corner and we are excited to announce that we are accepting applications for Junior Coach for the 2026 summer. The junior coaches work under the supervision of Coach Tony while continuing to participate as a swimmer and leader for the Wombats.

Expectations for Applicants:

• Spirited individual with creativity for leadership in team spirit activities
• Positive attitude about practice and all levels of competition
• Cooperation with fellow staff members and Wildwood Manor Swim Team Representatives
• Enthusiasm for the sport and the team
• Knowledge and ability to coach stroke technique and demonstrate appropriate technique as needed

Expectations for Work:

• Attend your own practices regularly and assist at practices as agreed with Coach Tony
• Assist in managing the swimmers participating in the Wednesday evening “B” meets
• Assist in the coordination of the pep rallies and/or social events, including the annual Beach Trip, work with fellow staff members, Swim Team Representatives and swimmers on weekly themes and decorations to inspire team spirit
• Interact appropriately with parents, swimmers, and fellow coaches in a professional manner
